Champion Tom dreams of more gold in London
NEW British hero Tom Daley has set his sights on London 2012 after his unexpected World Championship success.
Daley became Britain’s first world diving champion by winning the 10m platform title in Rome on Tuesday at the age of just 15.
He said: “This is great practice for London 2012 because there is going to be a lot of expectation and a lot of pressure.”
Daley was followed on the winners’ podium yesterday by Keri-Anne Payne, who won gold in the women’s 10km open water race after a sprint finish with Russia’s Ekatarina Seliverstova.
