Cushman & Wakefield

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Richard Evans to head its logistics and industrial team in the UK. Richard, who will start work at Cushman & Wakefield next spring, joins from JLL where he was lead director of its UK logistics group. He has spent 16 years at JLL advising investor, developer and corporate clients on strategic industrial and logistics transactions, with a focus on major industrial sales and acquisitions and large-scale leasing mandates.

Richard will be responsible for leading Cushman & Wakefield’s 30-strong national logistics and industrial team, working with senior figures including Gordon Reynolds, international partner, and Simon Lloyd, partner. Reporting to Robert Hall, he will also join the other country logistics and industrial skill line leads in setting the strategy for the EMEA logistics and industrial business.

AEG Europe

AEG Europe has announced the appointments of John Langford as chief operating officer, Paul Reeve as chief financial officer, and Emma Bownes in the newly created role of vice-president of programming across AEG's European venue portfolio. Their appointments follow the recent news that Alex Hill will take over as president of AEG Europe from 1 January 2019.

John Langford joined AEG in November 2016 as vice-president and general manager of the O2 arena. Prior to joining the O2, John was director of live entertainment for the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow.

Paul Reeve has been announced as the new chief financial officer for AEG Europe. Paul joined AEG over five years ago, as the financial director of the O2 and the SSE Arena. Prior to joining AEG, Paul held senior European finance roles in media at Dentsu Aegis and WPP.

Also announced is the appointment of Emma Bownes as vice-president of venue programming across all European venues. Currently programming director for the O2, and the SSE Arena, Wembley, Emma was recently featured in Music Week’s Women in Music Roll of Honour 2018.

Diffblue

Diffblue, the Oxford-based AI for code developer, announced the appointment of Jeremy Perlman as chief revenue officer. Jeremy will lead Diffblue’s marketing and sales efforts. He will focus on global expansion of Diffblue’s products, which use AI to improve the productivity of software developers.

He has over 20 years’ experience in the technology sector, having previously been vice-president for sales at Trifacta, the Google-backed global data preparation provider which raised $48m (£37.45m) in a Series D funding round in January 2018.
