CITY MOVES WHO’S SWITCHING JOBS

Conduit Capital Markets
The mid-market institutional derivatives and securities dealer has appointed Rakesh Chhabra as its new chief financial officer.

Chhabra qualified at Moore Stephens and joined Coopers and Lybrand in 1994. He worked at Mesirow Europe before being appointed to his most recent role as finance manager at Knight Equity Markets International Limited, where he was responsible for overseeing corporate accounting.

Reynolds Partners
The independent investment bank has appointed Stuart Macfarlane to lead its structured finance division.

Macfarlane previously worked at Deutsche Bank, which he joined when it took over Bankers Trust in 1999. In 2001, he became chief operating officer of the structured capital markets business, where he negotiated and executed transactions in Asia, Europe, North America and the UK across all asset classes.

Iron Mountain
Peter Eglinton has been hired as the new senior vice president of UK, Ireland and Norway operations at Iron Mountain, which helps firms reduce the costs and risks of information protection and storage.

Eglinton has over 20 years of experience in the logistics sector. He was previously managing director of Christian Salvesen’s transport division and spent 17 years at Exel.

Collins Stewart
The financial advisory group has hired Simon Davies as a media analyst. Davies joins from RBS/ABN Amro, where he was a media analyst and head of small and mid-cap research.
