England pondering pace options
CRICKET: England seam quartet Ajmal Shahzad, Chris Tremlett, Steven Finn and Chris Woakes have been left sweating on their World Cup places after bowling coach David Saker admitted conditions in the sub-continent are likely to mean there will be only four spots left for pace bowlers. England name their 15-man squad today, and with James Anderson, Tim Bresnan and Stuart Broad certainties, there is just one spot left up for grabs. Saker said: “If we get conditions that would be right for four seamers we probably would go with four.”
