European Central Bank holds rates ahead of press conference

The Governing Council of the ECB has decided to hold interest rates.

The rate on the main refinancing operations and the interest rates on the marginal lending facility and the deposit facility will remain unchanged at 0.50 per cent, 1.00 per cent and 0.00 per cent respectively.
