Fast growing firms say they will look at relocating if Jeremy Corbyn becomes Prime Minister – Leap 100
A majority of fast-growing companies in the UK refuse to rule out relocating abroad if Jeremy Corbyn were elected Prime Minister.
Forty-six per cent of the Leap 100 – 100 of the UK’s fastest-growing businesses, surveyed by Morning Wire – said they would consider moving overseas if the Labour leader came into power, while a further 11 per cent said they did not know. Only 43 per cent of respondents definitively said they would not relocate if he were elected.
Some of Corbyn's hard-left policies appear to have worried many of the respondents. Thirty per cent of firms surveyed thought that “his policies would make life much harder for my company”, while another 16 per cent said that he would push politics in a harmful direction even if he were never elected PM.
But 87 per cent of the firms are feeling more confident about their prospects since the General Election.
