EUROPEAN chiefs are thought to be considering switching the Champions League final back to Wednesday. Viewing figures for last year’s match, the first to be held on a Saturday, were not as high as hoped and a significant drop from the previous final. It is understood the matter has been discussed within the FA. A Uefa spokesperson told Morning Wire there were currently no plans to revert.
