Hameed denies making fix claims
PAKISTAN opener Yasir Hameed last night denied giving an interview to a Sunday newspaper in which he reportedly claimed his team-mates had fixed “almost every match”.
Hameed said he did not know he was being filmed and insisted he was only repeating corruption allegations he had read in the media.
“I have never spoken to the News of the World and I haven’t said anything like this,” he said, adding that he did not know the man he had spoken to was a reporter.
