Property firm Hansteen has announced its intention to move from AIM to the Official List and transform itself into a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). The company said it would hold a meeting with investors on 25 September to discuss the plans and hopes to complete its transfer to the Official List in early October, subject to regulatory approval.

Joint chief executives Ian Watson and Morgan Jones said the move would give the firm better access to equity capital and offer investors greater liquidity in their shares.
