Hart boosted by absence of Wales star
MANCHESTER CITY goalkeeper Joe Hart admits Gareth Bale’s absence from tomorrow’s Euro 2012 qualifier has enhanced England’s chances of leaving Cardiff with a vital win.
Bale has returned to Tottenham after failing to recover from a hamstring strain and Hart believes Wales will struggle to replace the winger who has been in such inspired form this season.
He said: “The news about Bale is good for us,” said Hart. “He is one of their best players. No one wants to see him getting hurt or injured and I am sure they will have someone ready to come in a fill his shoes. But they are pretty big shoes to fill.”
