Lloyds: Business confidence up

Business confidence rose for a third consecutive month in May, according to the latest Lloyds TSB Business Barometer report. The bank hails “promising signs” in May, claiming 44 per cent of firms now predict better business conditions this year compared to 35 per cent in April.
