Malmo course the longest yet
GOLF: The SAS Masters in Sweden will create history this morning when golfers take on the longest course ever on the European Tour.
The Barseback course, near Malmo, measures up at a massive 7,665 yards – 22 yards longer than the previous record-holder, Torrey Pines. Just one of the par fours is under 400 yards, while the shortest par five is 547 yards.
Home favourite Henrik Stenson leads a strong field.
