Maximum excitement on Wimbledon

Wimbledon gets underway on Monday and the fortnight at SW19 is always a fantastic occasion. Sporting Index will be offering a plethora of markets to make the action even more exciting.

The draw takes place today so most of the markets aren’t live yet. They will be later on this afternoon and you will be able to choose between anything from total tournament aces to individual performance markets on the key players.

We’ll take a more in-depth look at specific match markets next week but for now we’re going to concentrate on the specials which are live on the site.

No-one will ever forget the ‘endless match’ between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut in 2010. It went on for over 11 hours and Isner eventually won it in the fifth set 70-68.

There were an astonishing 183 games played and if any spread bettors fancy some kind of repeat the longest match in this year’s men’s singles can be bought at 75 games.

Another interesting market is total sets won to love which is set at a low looking 6.5-6.7. Buyers will be hoping for a few hopeless players to wander on to court this year.

There are also total straight set victories (60-62), total tie-breaks (100-103) and fifth set total games (286-294) which give punters an interest throughout the entire tournament.

It promises to be another wonderful two weeks of tennis down in south London.
