Mayweather fight postponed
BOXING: Floyd Mayweather Jr was last night forced to postpone his comeback fight against Juan Manuel Marquez after sustaining a rib injury.
The unbeaten welterweight champion was due to meet Mexico’s world lightweight king Marquez in Las Vegas on July 18, but suffered an injury during a training session. Mayweather Jr said: “I am extremely disappointed that this fight has to be postponed.”
