Monfils pulls out of Wimbledon

TENNIS: World No14 Gael Monfils has been forced to withdraw from Wimbledon after suffering a wrist injury playing at Queen’s.

The Frenchman pulled out of the Aegon Championship after his second-round victory over Andrey Golubev, and will now be replaced in the Wimbledon line-up by a lucky loser from qualifying.
