Murray crashes out in Valencia
TENNIS: Defending champion Andy Murray suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Juan Monaco in the second round of the Valencia Open. The Scot was never at his best and although he fought back to win the second set, Monaco eventually won through 6-2 3-6 6-2. Elsewhere, eighth seed Gael Monfils beat Eduardo Schwank in straight sets.
