Numis has advised Chime for five years, and previously advised on its acquisition of advertising agency VCCP – of Comparethemeerkat.com fame – and sports marketing agency Fast Track.

The team at Numis was led by its corporate finance director Nick Westlake, and included managing director of corporate broking Chris Wilkinson and corporate finance manager Richard Thomas.

So far this year, Numis has advised on over 25 corporate advisory transactions and is currently acting on four takeovers, one of which is hostile.

Westlake’s clients include Wilmington Group, UTV and International Public Partnerships. He has recently advised on Raven Russia’s £61m takeover of Raven Mount and related £76m fundraise, UTV’s takeover of the Wireless Group and subsequent fundraise and Yougov’s US acquisition of Polimetrix and related European acquisitions.
