PERFORMANCE: Tom Tom Crew A smash hit on Broadway, the Aussie group combining acrobatics, beat-boxing, drumming and scratch DJing are headlining the Southbank’s Udderbelly performance tent.

ART: The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition The RA’s annual display and sale of thousands of works by artists from Britain and around the world.

THEATRE: Kursk The Young Vic’s frighteningly atmospheric, total theatre drama about life and warfare in submarines.

FILM: The Hide Beautifully made British mini-thriller, starring In The Loop’s Alex MacQueen as a birdwatcher visited by Phil Campbell’s gun-toting gangster.

EXHIBITION: Baroque The Victoria &Albert Museum’s vivid look at resplendent design from the Baroque era, with costumes, furniture, religious items and more.

THEATRE: Collaboration/Taking Sides At the Duchess Theatre, a fascinating double bill of plays by the writer Ronal Harwood about composers living under the Nazis.
