Offshore Michelin-starred chef Shaun Rankin comes onshore for Mayfair club 12 Hay Hill

Having an office in Mayfair has always been something of a treat; why else would so many of London’s wealth managers set up camp there? Well, now it’s about to get even better. 12 Hay Hill, the swanky new members club with serviced offices, has announced the name of the Michelin-starred chef drafted in to run its kitchen – it’s Jersey-based Shaun Rankin.

Rankin, who you might remember from the Great British Menu and whose restaurant Ormer received a Michelin star four months after opening, plans to bring some Jersey-inspired culinary treats to Berkeley Square.

Given 12 Hay Hill’s ability to give financiers an office in London without commitment – maybe Rankin will be seeing some familiar faces from the offshore tax haven he calls home…
