Olympic Stadium work finished
OLYMPICS: London 2012 chiefs yesterday declared building work on the Olympic Stadium complete after the final piece of turf was laid by former sprinter Frankie Fredericks and organising committee chairman Lord Coe. The track has not been finished, however, and the surface will only be laid later this year in order to protect it.
