RUDOLPH PIE FOR CHRISTMAS SHOPPERS
Covent Garden’s confusingly-named Battersea Pie Station – a paradise for those who like their lunches hot, meaty pastry-topped – is getting in the festive spirit with a very tasty reindeer pie – called The Rudolph, natch – that’s available throughout this month. If those reindeer aren’t actually going to help deliver presents, they may as well help those shopping for them – best not to let the kids know.
£6 from Battersea Pie Station (or £5 takeaway), Lower Ground Floor, 28 The Market, WC2E 8RA. www.batterseapiestation.co.uk

CHELSEA FC’S CHRISTMAS TREATS
Here’s a pretty great present for a Blues fan. Chelsea FC’s Ultimate Gift package consists of a hostpitality ticket for any of the club’s Christmas and New Year games, plus souvenir goodies that can be wrapped and placed under the tree. And those aren’t just any tickets – they include pre-match dining, a festive drink on arrival, a complimentary bar, and an exclusive Chelsea scarf.
