Judging by their record on the road any game away from Old Trafford represents a potential stumbling block. Other than the trip to Arsenal, visits to the Parks, St James’ and Ewood, could provide problems.
OTHER DISTRACTIONS
At this stage of the season United will hope to avoid any unnecessary replays in the FA Cup, while European demands will place extra pressure on a squad which is far from a vintage one in terms of strength in depth.
BIGGEST THREATS
It has to be Arsenal. Theoretically the Gunners’ destiny is their own hands. It’s a tall order, but win their remaining fixtures and they’ll be champions.
AND CHELSEA?
Too little too late. Their focus is on cementing fourth place and Champions League qualification.
