Sunderland deny interest in Keane
TOTTENHAM striker Robbie Keane will not be replacing Darren Bent at The Stadium of Light, according to Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn.
Quinn, who played alongside Keane for the Republic of Ireland, said “Robbie works well off a big physical player but we don’t have that. Robbie doesn’t quite suit us.”
Sunderland are, however, said to be readying a bid for Keane’s current club colleague Peter Crouch.
