After a short trip to Las Vegas the clock inside my body is all at sea. But it was back in 2004 that a horse running at this time of year paid for a massive trip to the gambling capital and a stop at the Breeders Cup, that animal was Something Exciting and we need to find another horse to do the same again.
The £300,000 Tattersalls Millions Fillies Trophy at Newmarket looks very competitive. I quite like Date with Destiny but I’m not sure the expected ground will suit. I can see I Love Me improving from her first run and winning another massive prize but I’m not sure of the form of her first outing. Together looks a tough nut to crack and shouldn’t mind the going, but I have a feeling that SECRET LOVE (3% win) is the one to be on.
I’m not sure the £500,000 Tattersalls Millions Trophy at 2.25pm is much of a race and as such let’s stick with likely favourite FORMOSINA (5% win).
The Cambridgeshire looks tough, but I think William Buick may have picked the wrong John Gosden runner in Nationalism. However, START RIGHT (2% e/w) looks to be the sort for this race and with Kieren Fallon in the saddle he might just be able to take the prize.
