Torrance stalks leading pack
GOLF: City.A.M columnist Sam Torrance shot a steady two-under-par 69 to trail leading trio by two shots after the opening round of the British Seniors Open at Carnoustie.
Torrance lies in a tie for seventh while fellow ex-Ryder Cup captain Bernhard Langer leads the way with a 67. Langer is joined at the top of the leaderboard by England’s Carl Mason and American Jay Don Blake.
