A Marathon treat in Mayfair
As you pelt towards the finish line of the Marathon on 24 April, it might spur you on if you know your next 24 hours will be spent in the lap of luxury at Dukes, the nearest hotel to the finish line. The hotel is offering a high-carb dinner and breakfast, plus overnight accommodation and deep tissue massage for two in the health club. Naturally, a late check-out on Sunday follows. Package is from £365 for a standard Dukes Room, based on two sharing a double. Valid Saturday 24th April only. Call 020 7491 4840.

Natty city guides go mobile
Luxe City Guides, the hyper-witty mini folios, have launched in app form. Now you can have Luxe on tap, literally, on iPhone, BlackBerry, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung and HTC. (Phew.) The mobile editions are downloaded directly to devices and have handy online and offline maps (great for avoiding roaming charges) plus clickable websites and touch dial telephone numbers. Cities include London, Hong Kong, Singapore, London, Paris, Bali, Rome and Bangkok. App costs £5.99 to download at www.luxecityguides.com.

Best of both worlds in Caribbean
The Caribbean has a rich history that peeks out in its lush plantations. Start at Ottley’s Plantation Inn near Mount Liamuiga in St Kitts, then head to Nisbet Plantation Beach Club in Nevis – the Caribbean’s only plantation inn to be set directly on the beach. From £2,240 per person, based on two sharing and including one free night at each property, flights with BA, all resort transfers and inter-island ferry crossing between St Kitts and Nevis. To book visit www.juststkittsnevis.co.uk or call 01373 814210.
