Travellers face challenging journeys as bank holiday repairs close Euston and reduce underground services
Travellers trying to navigate around the capital this bank holiday weekend face extra challenges with repairs shutting major hub Euston and also causing disruption on the underground network.
Euston is the southern terminus of the West Coast Main Line which connects London to Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as being the main station for trains to Birmingham.
It is closed for repairs on 25-27 August and also on 1-2 September.

Rugby league fans travelling to London to see the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley between Warrington Wolves and French team Catalans Dragons face a difficult journey to see the game.
Warrington laid on coaches for its fans to travel from the north west for rugby league’s showpiece event.

Repairs on the underground network are also causing problems with no services on the District line between between Parsons Green and Wimbledon due to planned engineering work.
There are also severe delays between Upminster and Barking and minor delays between Earl's Court and Richmond/Ealing Broadway due to a signal failure at Barking.
The Bakerloo line is part closed between Stonebridge Park and Harrow & Wealdstone on 25 and 26 August with replacement buses running.
There is no service on the London Overground between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction with replacement buses operating.
