Vieira is back in the groove at City
PATRICK VIEIRA insists he is revelling in the physical challenges of the Premier League since moving to Manchester City.
The 33-year-old is re-adjusting to life back in England, five years after leaving Arsenal for the Italian Serie A.
And he’s been thrown in the deep end with City preparing to face uncompromising Stoke City for the second time in four days tonight – this time in the league following their 1-1 draw in the FA Cup on Saturday.
“The physical aspect of England is different but don’t forget I was at Arsenal for nine years,” Vieira said. “A lot of my game is based on the physical aspect. I enjoy it. In Italy it was different. That is why I am so pleased to come back.”
