This elegant bespoke chest of drawers is the perfect way to add spice to your living room

This towering chest of drawers isn’t just a piece of furniture, but a masterclass in contemporary British design. Standing at just over 7ft high, the Marque One Unit dominates a room while those around it gaze up, reflected in its lacquer. This imposing piece is the product of hours of craftsmanship and over 30 years of experience. Acclaimed interior designer Graznya Solland created the high-concept chest, which is built by hand in her workshop in Norfolk. The exterior comprises 13 different veneers cut into 21 designs, covering all four dimensions of the unit. Open any one of the 10 individually sized drawers and discover a pop of colour. Highly polished and lacquered inside and out, they are run on traditional solid walnut runners. When closed, the multi-layered designs blend together seamlessly, combining the best of the old and the new in joinery, design and carpentry.

The limited edition Marque One Unit is being sold at Sollands Studio, South Audley Street, Mayfair, as part of the Gra Collection. Priced on application
