PEUGEOT 208
Available next spring with three and five doors, this is Peugeot’s new 208, a descendent of the iconic 205, which was a great little driver’s car. Peugeot claim the 208 will be lighter, more agile and more efficient than its predecessor – the 207 – and roomier and more luxurious inside too. Lets hope it drives as good as it looks.

VAUXHALL’S NEW POWER CAR
Vauxhall has released the first pictures of its new red hot Astra VXR, the most powerful Astra Luton has produced. Powered by a 280hp 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Capable of reaching a top speed of 155mph, a lot of the car’s chassis development was done at the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring, so handling should be good.

DODGE THE CONGESTION CHARGE WITH CITROEN’S NEW C3
If you value efficiency above all else for your daily commute, then Citroën’s lowest CO2-emitting diesel model ever may be of interest. The new C3 e-HDi 70 Airdream EGS VTR+ emits just 87g/km and has combined fuel economy figures of 83.1mpg, which means no road tax and no London Congestion Charge either.
