Influencer KSI has secured permission to stream some Dagenham and Redbridge matches on his YouTube channel this season in a bid to grow the club’s popularity.

KSI – 33-year-old Londoner Olajide Olatunji – acquired a stake in the sixth tier National League South club earlier this year shortly after they were taken over.

The deal required the agreement of broadcaster Dazn and the National League, who already make some games available for streaming.

They said Dagenham and Redbridge games would benefit from “significantly enhanced production”, creating “an entirely new way of experiencing football”.

“Football has always been about bringing people together, and this partnership gives us the chance to tell the stories that don’t always get the spotlight,” said KSI.

“Dagenham and Redbridge has an incredible community behind it, and we’re going to bring fans closer to the club than ever before while introducing millions of people to what makes non-league football so special.”

KSI has almost 19m followers on YouTube, having built a huge audience through creating content on gaming, sports, music and culture.

“This is a genuinely exciting moment for our football club,” said CEO John Grabowski.

“We believe clubs at every level deserve the opportunity to build global audiences, and by working with Dazn and KSI we’re creating something that hasn’t been seen before in non-league football.

“This partnership is about much more than broadcasting matches – it’s about growing our club, shining a spotlight on the National League South, and showing what is possible when football embraces innovation.”

Dazn’s Pete Oliver added: “By partnering with KSI and Dagenham and Redbridge, we can bring National League South football to new audiences through broader distribution, innovative formats and creator-led storytelling.

“This collaboration demonstrates how technology and compelling content can help clubs connect with fans in new ways and extend their reach far beyond traditional audiences.”

It comes after Disney+ this week announced a deal to carry Gary Neville’s Stick To Football YouTube show in the coming season, as well as a new show co-hosted by Wayne Rooney and content creator Mark Goldbridge.
