[Re: Cameron is alienating his core voters without attracting new ones, Friday]
The day David Cameron ceases to be leader of the Conservatives, many lifelong Tories and ex-Tories will cheer. That day cannot come soon enough. At least all the other parties get to have a leader who actually believes in their own values and ideology.

Most Poles in the UK work for wages and want to buy houses. Under David Cameron, the real value of wages has fallen, and housing has continued to become more expensive. Maybe working Poles would vote for a pro-homeownership, pro-worker Conservative Party, but the Conservative Party we have currently is clearly on the side of people who already have assets.

Business is right to be spooked by the SNP. Besides currency issues, problems over Europe, and general lack of detail, Alex Salmond wants to create a social democratic state, fuelled by petro-money, when the oil is drying up. There’ll be no new Celtic Tiger if he’s in charge.
